The insects commonly found in bags of seed are moths (Indian moths I think but don't hold me to it). A simple solution (though not at this time of year) is to freeze the bags. I put mine n the garage for a few days in the winter. This takes care of any larvae present. I learned not to store seed inside the hard way when I was living in an apartment and kept my seed in a hall closet. I was chasing moths for months!
