While sitting in my hot tub this morning a bird zipped past just inches away from my head and landed on a peanut feeder about one foot away from where I was sitting, I looked at the bird thinking it was going to be a white-breasted or red-breasted nuthatch, but was shocked to see it was a Carolina Wren, by the way, he was looking back with a very shocked look on its face as well. (Not because of my swimsuit!) Birders are welcome to try and view the bird. We are a yellow house on the corner of 5th and Humboldt at 118 west 5th street in Buffalo City WI. The feeders are on the river side of the house, and can easily be viewed from 5th street. THANK YOU, Scott A.
