Hi all,
Our first nest of Bluebirds fledged sometime this afternoon. Same as last
year, they again left without an audience to cheer them on. As of yesterday
when I last checked all five seemed to be thriving.
If it continues to go like last year, the parents will keep them tucked away
somewhere in the woods for safekeeping. In a few days they'll bring them
back to show them how to get their own mealworms from the feeder.
