On a recent day at Horicon there was a very large group of immature (at least
not old enough to breed - most lacked the bill knob that indicates breeding
age) feed to the north of Dike Road. There were others sitting on small
islands just off the road but I could not tell if they were nesting. With so
many Pelicans in Horicon one would imagine they nest in the area. Has any one
positively determined id they do in fact nest in Horicon?
