Hello All Bird Conservationists!
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is and has been collecting
foreign canceled stamps and selling them with the proceeds going to the
Albatross Appeal that Tom Schaefer was recently speaking of on WISBIRD. I have
been saving and sending U.S. canceled stamps to this organization for the
better part of 7 years now (Noel Cutright was the first to bring this to
WISBIRD members attention at that time). It's fun and easy to do and it raises
approx. $15,000 to $17,000 a year for these birds! So get on the band wagon!
