The 2015 Christmas Bird Counts start in less than a month. This year marks
the 116th year that Audubon has been conducting citizen science based
counts. There are over 100 CBC circles across the state, and most of the
compilers are still looking for volunteers. In addition to field counts,
observers are encouraged to submit counts from their feeders. Any
experience level is welcomed, as compilers will often pair you up with a
more experienced birder if you need help. If this interests you, please
contact the compiler listed on the WSO CBC site.

Compilers, the Audubon site is open to register your count. Please send me
your dates when you have them so I can update the WSO site. At this time I
only have about a third of the count dates up on the site.
