These are work servers. I work at a school. The "main" server which runs the150 or so classroom and teachers computers. Then there is a separate set of computers which are connected to a sever in the library (different domain). The third set of computers has to be on yet another domain as is is connected to the secretariat and runs the school administratively, including sensitive info about pupils (grades, payments etc).
As I said in my request for aid, the three servers are connected physically through a unmanaged switch. I supply DNS connection to the internet to two of the domains. The third domain (secretariat) isn't allowed to be connected to the internet by the by-laws of the ministry of education.
Here's the weird bit. In trying to connect the servers to the new AV we purchased, the domain which HAS the connection to the internet is the one that WON"T accept the corporate AV. The secretariat has accepted the AV without problems.
As I said, all domains are independent other than the common connection through the switch.

I have tried giving the 2000 administrator rights on the NT. Still nothing. Could it have to do with the fact that the NT is a PDC and I should make it a BDC for this activity?
By the way I have a third Domain on another NT4 server and there their is NO problem. Weird.
Any other ideas?

It might be a trust issue, since we're talking different domains.

How is the trust set up on the third, working, NT-server visavi the
win2k-server?

BTW, why so many domains?? Judging from what you write, all you
have is a small home-lan(?).
