Chaps,

having an odd issue with emails

someone at a remote site cannot send emails in to our company as they get bounced back with following error:

Your document: Fw: Problems with email
was not delivered to: email@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
because: 553 Requested action not taken: mailbox name not allowed or chunk too large

end site system is lotus, ours MSExch.

What seems to be the problem is that the user at the other site has an apostrophe (') in his smtp address. i tried creating smtp email address on site with apostrophe in and sent fine to hotmail.

Cannot find any conclusive material on this issue at all. Has anyone experienced this or know why the issues has come about??

Thanks in advance
