[windows2000] Re: Virus/Worm via Messenger Service?

The machine is not registered in DNS, thus nslookup cannot find it.

nbtstat is for Windows hostnames which may not be registered in DNS but 
cached in Windows.

Therefore, if it was a Windows box with no registered DNS entry, nslookup 
will fail on the query, but nbtstat should pick it up.
