All functions of a win2k server continue to work while it's being
upgraded with service packs. Any shares hosted on this NAS device will
still be accessible to end users until you're able to reboot the box.

Subject: [windows2000] Very quick question -applying SP4

I have to apply SP4 to a critical NAS unit shortly. Am I correct in
thinking that network connections, shares etc will continue to be
available until the server is restarted, or are they disconnected at the
start of the update process? The extra few minutes could be critical.
