The process list updates in real time.  If you still see the process, the
program is still running.  Many programs like to think they're
ultra-important and feel that they must sit there bogarting your memory
(paged or whatever - I don't care) so they load faster the next time and
make themselves look better.  Yes, that's right Adobe, I'm bitching about
your ridiculous Adobe [Acrobat] Reader that likes to hide out all the time
taking 25-30 megs of memory.  WTF do I want with a "viewer" that takes up as
much memory as the entire NT operating system used to use?  Perhaps the
program you're using has this superiority complex as well.  You can kill it,
but there are any unsaved settings or anything, they'll be gone.
