It seems I remember our Backup Exec requiring its own Veritas drivers for
the autoloader, not the manufacturer's. Have you updated your Backup Exec
with downloads from the Veritas site?

Does anyone have any experience setting up a new autoloader (Dell PowerVault
124T) on a W2K server with Veritas Backup Exec 9.0? I have the hardware
installed and it shows up fine in the device manager. I just can't seem to
get it added to BackUp Exec.
I have searched all over the place for documentation outlining the steps for
this and have come up empty.
Anyone's help is deeply appreciated. I really need to get this up and
running.
