The Open Source version is AutoHotKey (.net I think) which I've used, but
you need to make sure you're logged in before using it, otherwise it gets
very confused... So no scheduled tasks, I'm afraid.

Yup, but isn't a final product, aren't they gonna charge for the
updates!?!?!? You chould also try autoit (http://www.hiddensoft.com/AutoIt)
an automation tool that's free but will need a little bit of scripting. I've
done a little bit of work in this area with some guy's from Veritas if you
need a hand but it is really good :-)

I was wondering if anyone know where I can get a script to run automatically
that will run certain programs without user intervention?
I tried the Scheduled Task thing, but that didn't work. :-( (even as
administrator) Between this time and the last time (I had to un-infest this
computer, which isn't mine btw), Ad-Ware has removed over 1800 nasties and
what it left, Spybot removed! So apparently they didn't heed my advise the
last time. So I want it (computer) to do it automatically.
