Has anyone ever had a problem with SUS where some of the clients get the reboot machine screen prompt, but with "NO" option greyed out? If so how can I fix this. -----Original Message----- From: toby.percival@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [ mailto:toby.percival@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 November 2003 14:55 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Software Update Service Have you installed the AD templates. This way you can schedule the update to take place overnight, include reboots and the user will be none the wiser...... Any other suggestions...??? So far I have done: Made a GPO wich installes the SUS Klient, startsup the SUS klient service, sets the sus server and download options etc. Everything works great. But there is some questions: Is there any way to change the default SUS klient update/check interval, wich is 24 hours? There is nothing in the documentation on this, but isnt there some way to get the SUS klient to just download, install, and shut the **** up, and lett the user be unaware of the install? I cant see no need for them to have a final saying on the install, and to reboot the computer right away anyway since they hardly use it (ICA Clinet only) Mvh Svein Arild ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor Pearl Software Internet Monitoring, Filtering, and Control Solutions Enabling User & Group Level Oversight & Access Policies Fully Functional in a Thick or Thin Client Environment http://www.pearlsw.com ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ******************** IMPORTANT NOTICE This email (including any attachments) is meant only for the intended recipient.
