I have a computer running win98 "outside" the domain and when it tries to
access a share, it asks for a login and password even if the share has
permissions to everyone.

I thought that Everyone only included known users. Like, if I bring in
a computer from home and setup the NIC to see the network here at work
RAYSHOMECOMPUTER\Ray isn't part of Everyone on
WORKDOMAIN\RaysWorkComputer, is it? If I shared something on
RaysWorkComputer and give Everyone full control, I don't think that
RAYSHOMECOMPUTER\Ray would have access to it, just because the computers
are on the same physical network.
