Yeah, both machines are in the same domain. Is the authentication issue a
local issue on the machine im trying to add the printer or a domain problem?

Are both machines in a domain?  That is odd.  Something else you could
try is pre-authenticating against the machine using the local admin
account, just to see if this really is an authentication issue.  Enter:

net use \\zeus\ipc$ /user:server\administrator
(then enter local admin password for \\zeus)
