We work in a mixed domain and have the same problem. As I understand it, you can't put NT4 print drivers on a 2000 print server, nor can you put 2000 print drivers on an NT4 server. At least you have one of each. What you could do is have all (or many depending on usage) printers connected to both servers. Users could connect to the printer they want through the server that has the same OS as their workstation. Our situation is worse. Our workstations are XP and our servers NT4. We had to pre-install XP drivers on every workstation for most printers, since we can't put XP drivers on an NT4 server. David L. When our NT workstations try to add a printer from the 2000 box, it has an incomatible driver. I've tried going into the 2000 PS and add additional drivers, specifically the checkbox for Intel Windows NT or 2000. Each time I try to add this driver, it tells me that it is either not compatible or not there. How do you get a 4.0 driver on a 2000 print server? ------_=_NextPart_001_01C36CD1.71B44E74 Content-Type: text/html Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <META NAME=3D"Generator" CONTENT=3D"MS Exchange Server version = 5.5.2650.12"> <TITLE>Print drivers</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <P><FONT SIZE=3D2 FACE=3D"Arial">We have two print servers, one an NT = box, the other a 2000 print server.
