The easy way to check that is to, at a run box, type: \\<bdc name>\Netlogon

That is where the clients will be looking for the policy files.

Hi,
Just something silly that i have done in the past worth checking and that
just make sure you have copied the NTconfig.pol file into the Import scripts
folder and not the export scripts folder as this is easily done and would
cause your problem to happen.
other than that just check the permissions on the policy file itself.
hope this helps a little

We have an NT4 network, and our policy administrator is out for
extended medical reasons. We have a group policy that is supposed to
set the users default IE home page. It works when the user is
validated by the PDC, but not when the user is validated by our
primary BDC. So, we copied the policy file from the PDC to the BDC
thinking that would fix the situation, but it did not. Am I missing
something? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
