The link is 512 kbps. Pinging the exchange system gets me a reply in 227 ms.
Still sucks though. I mean, its ok to download the email from another site,
but Outlook should NEVER look dead. : )

Get a server at your local site. ;-)

Just kidding. How are you connecting? Dial-Up with VPN? If your uplink is
very slow, you will see those problems. I connected to an Exchange server
2,500 miles away via a 1 mbps connection without a problem for 2 years
(before I switched companies). Attaching docs was never a problem.

I have a problem with Outlook too. Here where I work, we do not have a
Exchange server. The server is in the US, we are at brazil. Whenever you try
to save an attachment, Outlook seems to "not be responding" even though if
you wait until the attachment gets transferred it will be back to normal. Is
there anything I can do to improve its response time? Hasn't MS ever heard
of a damn thing called thread???? lol

Do not tell me to get a server at my local site! ; P
