Just a curiosity...

I was wondering if there is any feature similar to the "synchronize" option
on windows xp to keep online files available when the file server is down.

Suppose I have a fileserver that all machines map to an user folder so all
users files can be easily managed. Now lets suppose that machine. Is there
any way to have another server keep the files synchronized with its own and
be able to take over so the client could keep working on his files even
though the main fileserver is down?

Maybe I should just use the synchronize option as it is already there... Any
suggestions/experiences are welcome...
