Or you could just go the easy route and get Roxio EZ-CD Creator or NERO
Ahead and write the CDs that way.. Even write CD Text (if your HU supports
that)...

No, they are not. AFAIK, info on music CDs are just chunks of data,
and the individual tracks are pointed to by time indicators. I
recall seeing somewhere that writing audio CDs is some kind of
witchcraft... The CDA-extensions is only what windows sees on the
audio-cd, they do not represent the actual track, it's only a
pointer to where the data is on the cd or some such.
Whenever converting mp3-files to waves, to be playable on a regular
cd-player, ignore cda's. Just make sure the mp3-files are converted
to wave-files and burn those.
