[windows2000] OT: Recurring event in Sharepoint v3-No Enddate shows year 2158

When I set an recurring even in Sharepoint v3 and then click that there should
be no end-date for the event, I always get the date 2158-06-11 as the end-date
anyway.
For all practical reasons this *is* an enddate, relatively speaking, as I will
definitely be dead by then... Still, I'm curious as to why it's 2158 at all.
Is this a hardware-issue or some such??
