Are you *sure* you don't work at the Evil V? :P  I had that *same* exact
problem.  The funniest part is when we'd kick his chair to wake him and he'd
jump up yelling, complete with the drool on his tie.  

And sure... Only if you can afford the 20% sun tax and a home costing
upwards of 400k.  San Diego is beautiful, but it's a supreme culture shock.
And oh yeah, gas costing 2.49/gallon last week.

Yep, you're correct.  NEVER casual, although there are days that I just say
f*** it and come in casual anyway.  I figure that since a coworker in my
department has spent the past year SLEEPING AT HIS DESK and no one has done
anything about it, nothing's going to happen if I forego the tie a couple
times a week.
