Are you planning on doing this? Core Switch --------- HUB |-----------SWITCH----------SWITCH ? There is a difference on whether you're using hubs or switches for that middle link. Although it probably wont affect you, there is a limit to = how many hubs you can string together with 100BaseT. -Aaron ----------------------- Aaron Dokey - MIS Reid Tool Supply 2265 Black Creek Rd. They won't let me retire it just yet. As =3D long a I am not creating problems by stringing switch to switch to =3D switch, I am happy. =3D20 Thanks for your help. In fact, you will see the greatest improvement = =3D from replacing that hub with a switch. You're on the right track. -Aaron ----------------------- Aaron Dokey - MIS Reid Tool Supply 2265 Black Creek Rd. That location currently has one connection already. I need it = =3D =3D3D to have about 8.=3D3D20 This location is about 400' from my main communications room where the = =3D =3D3D main switch is located. To get the existing connection there, it goes = =3D =3D3D through a hub which is right in the middle. =3D3D20 SWITCH ----200'----> HUB ----200'----> outlet.
