Yes it did work on Win2k, and according to device manager the sound card is working properly. That is what's perplexing, it should be working no problem, except in the Sounds and Audio applet, it displays "no playback device", or "No Audio Device" but when you click on the hardware tab of that same applet, the card shows up, click on properties, "This device is working properly". It should say "This device is working properly, I just don't want you to use it!" This is happening on my test server at work, and at my home. I have used 3 different cards with the same result, so I know it is not a case of the cards being defective. The cards are even different brands. It installed nicely, seems to = =3D run smoothly, so far all my apps are working with it. Just no one can answer this Audio Device problem.
