Check the options to see if you have Automatic reboot on system failure set. My guess is that you do, and you're getting some kind of blue screen that will show itself when you turn that off. Probably a hardware problem of some kind, check the RAM.

Hello all,

We have a Win2K box that recently and mysteriously re-booted itself while
the user was working. He allowed it to re-boot and went back to working and
few minutes later it did it again. According to the user he did not do
anything out of the ordinary (even after intense interrogation :-) ).

Any ideas on the cause?

TIA
