Go to your control panel and choose System applet, Click on the hardware
tab and then Hardware profiles. Click on properties and uncheck the box
that says this is a portable computer.

I got a computer that keeps giving me a low battery alert, and when I go
into the power management, it looks like a laptop would as far as
configurations go. Sure, I can turn off the alerts, but something still
isn't right. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried installing
the NT legacy power device but no dice. TIA
