Separate.
Separate.

But, if you log in, then disconnect, you can reconnect back to the same
session and programs you disconnected from.

But if you do not actually choose "disconnect" and just close the session,
the server may not know you are disconnected, and you may get a new session
instead of connected back to the old ones.

Take a look at TSAdmin, where each session shows up separately.

Subject: [windows2000] Multiple terminal services sessions

Hi list,

Can anyone answer these questions? I know I've been in all situations,
but I swear that I've seen varying results. But, computers don't
produce varying results, so it must be my user error some how.

One single server with TS in administration mode:
If I log in to a TS session and then log in a second time with the same
account, will I be in the same session, or will it be a separate
session?

On single server with TS in application mode:
If I log in to a TS session and then log in a second time with the same
account, will I be in the same session, or will it be a separate
session?

Thanks,

Ray at work
