I verified it only by logical deduction, not checking policies, as that goes
beyond the scope of my knowledge.  :]  We have about 400 W2K machines on our
network, all of which have the messenger service set to automatic startup
and remain that way.  So, I just decided on my own that it's not a policy
thing, especially since te person who does our policies is the one having
the affair with this employee.  Hmm, maybe it is on purpose then.  He's
probably trying to end the affair.  If I see his pet rabbit boiling in the
break room today, I'll know the cause of this.
