We used the Quest tools to do our NT4 to W2K migration. We have not
tried to merge two Ads though. I would bring both domains up to the same
OS and patch level before trying anything else.

Subject: [windows2000] Merging 2 AD Domains

Hello all,

Our company just bought out another company. We are currently using
Windows Server 2003, the other company is using 2000 Server (which I
believe they are going to have to upgrade to 2003). As you probably
have figured out already we are going to have to merge our AD Forests
and Exchange Information together. We are currently using Exchange 5.5.

I found this company http://wm.quest.com/products/migrationmanagerad/
but am not sure if this is the best option. Has anyone gone through a
merger before or tried any other products that may do this?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Eddie @ Bridgecom
