[windows2000] Re: MSI Installer Error

I'm getting the same error for what looks like Word, Excel, and Office (I know
they are the same but I'm just reading it off. I installed Office and Project
the way the manuals tell you to do it on MS website so I don't know how this
happened either. Would this cause slow performance?

I am not sure how you managed to cause the problem. I have seen this with
Project2000 on Server2003. If you create UserData as an empty string, the
problem goes away. Unfortunately that is a HKCU key, so per user!
If Project, you may also have an issue with "HKCU/Software/ODBC/ODBC.INI/MS
Access Database", however this may be a 2003 issue only. If it happens,
just create that as a key (unless you use the feature).
