Did you try excluding mmc.exe from the scan list?

Are you using Trend for Anti-virus protection? After we installed
Trend, we had this problem. We had to exclude mmc.exe from the scan
list. Put in an explicit path to mmc.exe, so if someone sends you an
infected mmc.exe, it will be blocked. We have 2, one in
C:\WINNT\System32 and one in C:\WINNT\System32\DLLCache.
Hope this helps

I have rebuilt my AD domain and since this morning about 1 in 5 times =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
when I go into AD Users and Computers on the server it doesn't open it =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
up but mmc.exe takes up 99% of the CPU.

If I have the task manager open I can kill it via this, and everything =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
is fine again until I try again.

Has anyone come across this before?

Thanks,

Steve
