[windows2000] Re: Long Log on times

Here is the error it is getting:
Deregistration of the DNS record '_kpasswd._tcp.domain.domain.com. 600 IN
SRV 0 100 464 server.domain.domain.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS operation refused.
It seems like it's looking in the wrong domain. It should just be
server.domain.com, but instead it is server.domain.domain.com. Why would it
have changed to be looking there?

Have you checked the event log? Is your domain name something.com,
which is an actual Internet domain, and perhaps you're using the wrong
DNS server or have DNS setup wrong and your users are trying to
authenticate out at some Web server?
