One of the first thing i'd check was gateway, subnet, connection, power all the stupid stuff that makes you yell at someone. Try pinging it on the same subnet to verify then go to the next subnet. I use the common way of installing, creating port, IP addresses, etc. But when I tried to assign a IP address to a printer on one of my subnets, it can't find it. I know the default subet, subnet mask, etc. I can't ping the IP address of the jet direct, NOTHING. I have one DC running AD. Am I missing something in my DC config, or is there somthing else I need to do to accomplish this. Thanks
