Oh and msinfo32.exe might tell you something. And I mistyped the name of the 
file bootlog will be NTbtlog.txt usually in the windows or system32 folder.

    Probably not your issue, but I have an app that "locks up" if the spooler 
service isn't running.

  Whenever we login to this particular server, Windows locks up after a few 
seconds. We can get it to respond to an initial request (open a menu) but the 
menu does not fully open and looks wavy or partial. It works fine in safe mode.
   
  We have updated the video driver, removed the Remote Supervisor Adapter, 
disabled various services and still no luck.
   
  Anyone experience this before and have a solution?
