Yeah, I have run into that a couple of times. I use the button on the =
IE toolbar to shut it off when need be. I don't mind the hassle, it =
does so well the rest of the time.

I run adaware on my terminal servers every couple of weeks and I found a =

program called Free Surfer that does an incredible job at blocking =3D
popups (www.free.surfer.tc). Haven't tried it on a TS yet but it works =

great on 2k and XP.
I am extending my skills by getting a programming degree and have to =3D
take an intro class in operating systems (long story). I am assembling =

some links for my lab partner who is a total newbie to computers. I =3D
forgot to add Adaware though. Everybody should have that.

We also use freeware called adaware, which seems to work pretty =3D

it runs on your taskbar, has a pretty current list, and if an ad does =

up...u can click on the taskbar and add that one to the list of popups =

block....seems to work pretty well...have 2 pc's right next to each =3D

one running adaware and has the list that Jim sent out, the other with
