I'm trying to install service pack 3, for Windows 2000, on a laptop that =
has Windows 2000 Professional installed.=A0 During the "Finishing =
installation" phase, I get the following error message:
=A0
"shmgrate.exe - Entry Point Not Found.=A0 The procedure entry point =
RtlDuplicateUnicodeString could not be located in the dynamic link =
library ntdll.dll."
=A0
It then goes on and finished the installation, and after rebooting the =
laptop, I've checked the file NTDLL.DLL.=A0 I found that it has a =
version number of 5.0.2195.5400, which is what is installed with SP3 for =
Windows 2000.
=A0
My questions are: =A0(a) why am I getting this error message?=A0 And (b) =
should I be concerned about it?
