[windows2000] Content Redirection

I've been reading a little on this stuff but I don't know why it doesn't work.
According to the help menu contenet redirection should just show up and I
shouldn't have any problems. The issue I'm having is I just published Word and
I want to redirect .doc files from Client to Server. However in content
redirection the only extensions that show up under Word are .htm and .html.
With Excel I don't get anything, am I doing something wrong or is there some
trick to this?
