I tried to reinstall and have come up with nothing. I turn off the Windows firewall and turn on the stateful firewall in the client software and I still get the Blue screen error. Upon reboot, I can't get in and have to go into safe mode as the Admin and turn off the Cisco service. Then I can reboot and log back in without the blue screen. I am running Sygate Firewall and Symantec AV client 9.0. I am running Cisco VPN 4.0.1 now and have dowloaded version 4.0.3 to test. Hopefully this will fix my situation. Possible workaround is reinstalling the CISCO client. Make sure you save any certificates and profile files you may have. -----Original Message----- From: Daryl Ehrenheim [mailto:d.ehrenheim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 02 September 2004 01:06 To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [windows2000] Cisco VPN Client software issues. Has anyone else had problems running the Cisco VPN client software since SP2. The reason I ask is that I have it on my machine and since I installed SP2 it crashes my machine. It give me the dreaded BSOD and reboots. Anyone know of a workaround. All I could find on Google was to disable the Windows Firewall (which I did by default) and have the Stateful Firewall running in the Cisco client. I also am running Cisco 4.0.1. I need all the help I can get. I have remote users that rely on the VPN software and are running XP. If any of them install SP2, they and me will be hosed. Thanks again. Daryl S.
