In AD, users & computers, for Exchange I add another SMTP address with their
new name, make the new one the primary. All mail in their former name will be
directed to their new name.

I have had a couple of requests lately from users that have had recent name
changes as a result of divorce or marriage. Most of our users are older so we
don't deal with it much. This is the first time we have dealt with this since
moving from NT 4. Then, we would just setup a new account with the new name
and delete the old one. I would like to try an be more graceful with it if I
can.

Ideally I would like their old email address to still direct mail to them. All
our users get a mandatory profile so that won't change. But they do get setup
with Exchange 2000 and they do have a home directory that matches their userid.
I can open AD Users and Groups and simply change a name easily enough but I
was just curious what the rest of you do for this. There are always several
ways to do things.
