Ray sorry... I come from a strong NT background and I am
not to good on AD yet.... I am using AD and both servers
are running win2k. Like I said when I had the server
that was my only server at one time "PDC" turned off I
could not log into the network with a 2000 workstation.
As soon as I brought the server backup it let me attach to
the network... I hope that is enough info...

Do you have some more info, like what "would not let me"
means? Was there
an error dialog displayed when trying to log in? What was
it? Anything in
any event logs? When you say PDC and BDC, does that mean
that you have NT
DCs?

(The answers to these questions won't mean anything to me,
because I don't
know anything about W2K. I just like this list. But I
think those who may
be able to help with the issue will want to know the
answers to these
questions.)
