Hi Chris,

Thanks, I did download it and installed it but still no luck unfortunately. It still comes on with that station info and locks me up. I must have a weird setup here somehow. As far as the number of stations what I meant was that I can't even get beyond the 330 or so that it comes with. I can't seem to find where to change it up even to a thousand. Ain't computers fun?!

Hi Bud
This station info thing is happening to everybody now and it's really really annoying!
It's not because of the Winamp agent, those 2 things really don't have much to do with each other. I'm not sure if you've been on the list long, but there was a discussion a bit ago about a plugin called Die Browser Die! Here's a link to get it.

Die Browser Die version 1.1 A

http://nunzioweb.com/daz/files/Die_Browser_Die_v1_1a.exe

Just download and install this plugin in the usual manner and the station info will go away.

Hope that helps.

Hi Marty,

Thanks for the reply. I did get to general preferences and found system tray but it is already unchecked. Maybe that's not what's causing my problem. Somebody suggested that that was what was causing it to say station info when I go to a station. Then my keys don't work and I have to go out of winamp and come back in and start over. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with winamp and I get the feeling this list is for more advanced guys than me.
Thanks Marty, and if you have any other thoughts I'd be glad to try. Actually I am also trying to expand the list of stations. I have the thing Dean Martineau wrote on how to do it but none of the steps coincide with what happens here.

Regards

Bud

Hi, Budd, from the preferences dialog, with control p, press the home key to get you to the top of the tree-view, and arrow down once, and then you can tab, and there is a check box that says system tray, and if it is checked, uncheck it, and then the winamp agent will be disabled.
