Hi Pam,

Probably true--but I like playing around and making programs do things that 
they're not supposed to do.  sometimes it works and sometimes not.  When I 
get the Windows Media streams to play in Winamp, it's an achievement on my 
part--and I do believe they sound better in Winamp than in Windows Media 
Player.  It's just my preference.  Some people may disagree.

From what I have ever seen, no one player will play everything.  That's why
you usually need several players on your computer unless you intend to
confine yourself to only listening to things that use your favorite player.
