play list questions

Any idea why this is happening. I'm trying to rebuild my large play list.
When I am in the play list editor and have my play list open. I hit end to go
to the bottom of the list. It takes for ever. It only goes down about 50 at a
time before I have to hit end again. That's one problem. Also, when I hit
delete on a track, it doesn't delete. Any guesses on what could be going wrong
here? Thanks.
