well that certainly narrows it down eh? there are roughly a billion folders where the playlist could be. windows search is your friend. Use it and you'll find what you want.

Subject: lost playlists

Good afternoon, I have another question for the Winamp experts. As I muddle my way through learning what I need to know about Winamp, I find myself being fairly pleased at what it allows me to do fairly easily...once I learn the tricks and keystrokes. However, I have discovered a problem. I have ripped dozens of CD's and they go into a "my music" directory and those lists appear on my playlist list in the Winamp library. I have a couple of CD's,however, which I ripped in exactly the same manner as always and they are showing up in the library, but are not in the my music directory. The problem is that I can't find the music I desire to load when using the playlist editor and create different playlists from various tracks on the ripped playlists in the library. The two lists are not in the my music directory. Where would they go if not in the apparent default directory? I have done a search for the files by title, but the search of the entire system does not produce the folder or any track. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you.

John
