Hi Arleen,
First of all, the actual JAWS scripts are not damaged in any way by using the
modern skin. They simply do not work well when modern skins are installed. As
far as the Window-Eyes question, I'm not really sure, but since the modern skin
support is very graphical and markedly changes the interface, I would not be
surprised if Window-Eyes set files also did not function properly if modern
skins are chosen.
