Hi. I got part of that figured out and have the sem encoder going through
the dsp part of the sqr crossfader but here's my next question, and I'm not
even sure if this is possible.
Say that song a is an ambient piece, but songs b and c are time and great
gig in the sky by pink floyd. Could I tell the plugin not to fade song b
into c as there's a natural setway between those two tracks and then
reactivate fade levels to work on the next song in the set? I've noticed
that the crossfader starts playing the next song a couple of seconds early.
I was testing it on the dark side of the moon cd where you wouldn't want any
fading to happen and wasn't sure if there was a way to excert this kind of
control over the plugin and if so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks
for any further help with this question.

do you use one instance, or two instances of winamp to broadcast? the
reason why I ask is because, if you use one instance of winamp to
broadcast, you could conceivably set up your compression plugin as the
DSP effect in winamp, then set up the Sam Encoders as the secondary
DSP plugin through the SQR Crossfader plugin so that you wouldn't need
DSP stacker at all. If you use the two-instance method, I would
suggest using an earlier version of winamp as the broadcasting
instance. for example, I use the two-instance method, and my
broadcasting instance of winamp is version 2.95 which works fine with
the DSp Stacker.
