so will this work if I have one instance of winamp going thrugh a different
sound card? I must admit that this all sounds a bit confusing as I'm quite
new to broadcasting.

Hi scott,

do you use one instance, or two instances of winamp to broadcast? the
reason why I ask is because, if you use one instance of winamp to
broadcast, you could conceivably set up your compression plugin as the
DSP effect in winamp, then set up the Sam Encoders as the secondary
DSP plugin through the SQR Crossfader plugin so that you wouldn't need
DSP stacker at all. If you use the two-instance method, I would
suggest using an earlier version of winamp as the broadcasting
instance. for example, I use the two-instance method, and my
broadcasting instance of winamp is version 2.95 which works fine with
the DSp Stacker.
