I have had no difficulty using Winamp and the Sam encoder on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Screen reader should not make a difference, but I am using JAWS.

I have a friend who wants to broadcast using the Sam Encoders plugin from Spacial Audio. She's running the latest Winamp, 5.572 and the Sam Encoders DSP plugin. Have any of you guys experienced this, and if so, what'd you do to fix it? We've done absolutely everything we can think of. Uninstalled and re-installed Winamp, added and deleted all the plugins, we've done absolutely everything we can think of, yet the problems still persist. Could it be the fact that she's using win 7 64 bit and the drivers aren't getting along with Winamp, or something else similar? Bottom line is, she'd like to know how to fix it, but like I say I'm still running xp. I've asked if it would be posible for her to go back to a different version of Windows, and she'd rather not do that which I can completely understand. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be greatful and will pass them on! This is driving both of us crazy. Not a long trip for me eh?
