Ok, here is the path to find the book marks file.
go to.
this is if you are using; the newer versions of winamp.
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Winamp
and if you are using an old version of winamp you can find the book marks file,
here.
C:\Program Files\Winamp

It is not all that elementary for some of us, in other words, some words of
enlightenment would be in order, instead of just a reminder! I Haven't ever
done what you are talking about and I only have a rudimentary familiarity with
bookmarks, so, how does one do this, with Windows XP Home, running JAWS
10.0154u?

  Thanks,

This may be elementary for some but be sure you find and copy your bookmarks,
they are well hidden. I always keep a copy of the winamp.bm file in the My
Documents folder at all times which I update every week even if I don't think
I've added any bookmarks.

Find out what version he has, then have him completely uninstall and remove
the folder. Then have your friend reinstall it and see if that works. Or,
before you do something drastic like that, find out if he is running plug ins
that have had a major update. If so, He will have to get those plug ins updated
if they are accessible with a screen reader.

Hello listers. I know a friend who has this problem. His winamp
locks up when he tries to play music with it. Is there another thing
you can do instead of doing an uninstall or reinstall Thanks any
help will do! I don't know what version of winamp he has.
